Chill out in Hangout @ Jonker Malacca Hotel

Hangout @ Jonker 22 Rooms Hotel was opened in 3 July 2010 .
This trip was sponsored by Cathay Organisation : SGD $75 cash and a twin room in Hangout @ Jonker as part of Cathay’s 75th anniversary birthday celebration .

Fancy a short escapade that keeps your stomach full while staying and chilling out in a brand new hotel in town ?

Well , if you are budget conscious and needs a good comfy place to sleep it through without those cockroaches running around your face or the door gonna fall anytime soon , Hangout @ Jonker is the best feasible place to enjoy your holiday !

Starting off , Hangout @ Jonker Malacca has a really simple check-in lobby that you just rest your feets on and ample seating areas that aren’t sofas but chairs – but what do you expect more of a NO FRILL hotel ? 🙂

The check-in is very fast as you won’t see any queue that you will see in some hotels , and the staff are very professional with ability to speak in clear english that won’t make you *faint* and keep repeating yourself again and again ! 🙂

Lovely hotel cards that you need to slot them all in to enter into Hangout @ Malacca – I must say Hangout @ Malacca is the best secure hotel that i ever stayed in Malacca – it has a door that requires key access when you enter the hotel !

Hangout @ Jonker Malacca has a nice Pantry just before the lift , that offers 24 hours free kopi and teh at your reach and a microwave oven to get you cooking !

Hangout @ Jonker Malacca is a 4 storey high that has a pretty small lift , but very clean with doors that seperate the lift lobby from the rooms – but you can’t see a single soul on that level which might be a little eerie when you’re alone and the level is extremely quiet .

We got a free Twin Room , courtesy of Cathay Organisation and Hangout Hotel Malacca ! The Twin Room is pretty small though that consists of 2 single beds , a study table , a chair , television that has pretty limited channels , free local calls in your room and no worries , a bathroom too !

The beds are pretty comfy , but a little low in height . Like what i said above , levels are very quiet so you won’t get disturbed of your sleep !

I always love this kind of BIG BIG Shower that keeps you so refreshed after a shower ! 😉

Simple breakfast served by hangout @ Jonker is DIY ( Do It Yourself ) , and they’re just some breads , jam and butter that you put in the toaster and toast for 1 minute or so ! 🙂

Well , Hangout @ Jonker Malacca accommodated my request for the highest floor and one of the best rooms for viewing sunrise , sunset and having a chat just next to the look out that offers beautiful views of Malacca . 🙂

Night view of Hangout @ Jonker Malacca – in case you don’t know , Hangout @ Malacca is the best convenient hotel in town to reach out to the Malacca River where you could take a boat ride down the river – and surprisingly , there are still people strolling down the river after midnight !

Hangout @ Jonker is also just next door , less than 1 min walk away from the famous Jonker’s walk which is very vibrant at night for shopping and tasting local delights and might be very crowded during weekends .

From the rooftop of Hangout @ Malacca , I’ve seen one of the best sunrises from the historic town and historic Red House from the view !

Not forgetting , Hangout @ Jonker Malacca has free wifi and free computers on the lobby level that allows you to seamlessly connect with your social networks and friends abroad !

For such a feasible location and walking distance to good food , attractions and near to Malacca Sentral , Rooms are selling hot from RM 140 for twin rooms and RM 180 for triple rooms . Walk-in rates differ , hence book online for more savings .
