Park Regis City Centre Sydney | Premier King Room Review

A breeze away from the Sydney Tower Eye which is just 3 mins walk away and a street from the Queen Victoria Building, the Park Regis City Centre Sydney is popularly swarmed by restaurants for the foodaholics, shopping districts for the shopaholics and convenience at its best to well-known Circular Quay and Darling Harbour for the adventurous travelers.

Stepping into the small little lobby among all the other restaurants and banks on the same level, i was greeted with a brilliant purple glow with the printed “Park Regis Sydney” signboard and tugged my heavy luggage into the lobby where i was pleasantly greeted with a smile by the check-in staff with her cheerful bubbly voice to freshen me up after a long walk across the Hyde Park.

Armed with my hotel keycard, i was ascended to level 14th and here’s what that greeted me when i opened the tough-looking door around a mazey small corridor:

Such a nice little cosy room with a wall-mounted television and a view of the bustling city from my windows were what i noticed when i slowly discover the details of this room and try to uncover any hidden gem of this central-located hotel. Nicely furnished with a fine touch of contemporary premier King room and showering the main focus on the King-sized bed occupying the center of the room.

The fresh crisp bedsheets topped with a warm tugged blanket and fluffy pillows assures a good night sleep amidst the bustling street but if you are feeling a little cold during the winter, there’s additional blankets to top up the warm. If you are one whom love the pillows swarm around you, there’re additional pillows for you to drift to dreamland.

Be entertained with a range of TV programmes all day with your own leisure on the bed from the wide-screen wall-mounted TV and help yourselves to the loads of minibar in case you go hungry at night and feeling the laziness to descend to ground zero. Tea bags, coffee, packets of milk are fully filled in the minibar for that morning wake-up energizer and relaxation doze.

Relax away and reward yourself with a rain shower refreshing bathe after a long day of expedition with warm droplets massaging your shoulders and back. Pamper your hair and body with the conditioner, body lotion and shampoo then slip into the newly ironed bathrob and unwind with a peace of mind in the cosy premier room.

“Our 45th floor has a good view of the city, remember to head up there.” – that’s what invited me up to 45th floor with the eagerness after i checked in and then again, i headed up in the evening before the sun sets. Wow, such stunning views right up on the Park Regis City Centre Sydney open-air roof-top with a comfortable sofa for that romantic moments but it was actually blocked with a transparent glass which i was thankful later.

Feeling curious, i climbed a fleet of stairs and there, i was attacked by strong furious winds at all directions and i’ve to grab tight to the railings and my camera to ensure that it won’t be blown away. It was then when i was relieved that the transparent glass on the 45th floor surrounding the hangout space was present – sure you won’t want your hair to be all messed out just to sacrifice for the views!

If you’re a photography enthusiast, this is the place for you and only for guests – that means you’ve to book a stay at Park Regis City Centre Sydney. Trust me, it’s worth every effort to brave your way through the strong winds because the moments of the setting sun and fading skylines to the night make every efforts worth-while.

Take a dip into the 1.5m deep waters high above the ground accompanied with the splendid views of the city right before your eyes but avoid the spilling waters during the rough winds. 😉
