Our recent Tiger Airways flight check-in at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport

We’ve heard about flight delays and flight cancellations especially on budget airlines, but perhaps count me lucky, i didn’t face any with Tiger Airways. My connection flights to Korea was 2.5 hours and i wasn’t late, but in fact, arrived early in Cebu to catch my connecting flight.

Our guest reporter, Melissa went to cover the Tiger’s move last Tuesday from Budget Terminal to Terminal 2 Singapore so check out what she experienced:

Tiger Airways checked into the heart of Singapore, City Hall and Melissa spotted the orangey-striped on the move. If you haven’t heard, Tiger Airways rewards its fans with free tickets to Bali, Colombo or phnom penh with an easy snap of these girls on the roam over the week.

If you managed to catch up with the girls and take some photos with them, the contest is still on at! Submit it before Sunday, 30 September to win one of the 12 pair of return tickets to selected destinations for that break that you really need it much.

Promising more comfort and convenience, Tiger Airways locates its new den at Terminal 2 Singapore and Melissa together with the other invited guests were warmly welcomed with the overly-height Tiger at Changi Airport Terminal 2.

Cheering the arrival of the furry brilliantly-coloured Tiger with its enthusiastic cheer-leading teams to its cosy spacious home that has much more facilities and seamless connections to your transit flights and relaxation areas around the airport. The tiger also welcomed the CEO of Tiger Airways, Mr Koay Peng Yan and Managing Director of Tiger Airways Singapore, Mr Stewart Adams for its celebratory new home.

Cheerful passengers were supportive of the move to a more lively ambiance terminal from the budget terminal which was deemed to be smaller, limited shopping areas and dining outlets. With easier connectivity from the city and more check-in rows at Terminal 2, Tiger promises a better experience for travelers flying from its new den.
